I just came across this post about Jack Dorsey’s life lessons. A lot of wisdom here for everyone, but they ring especially true for those of us in medicine …
- Don’t be a jerk.
- Don’t take anyone for granted.
- Enjoy the moment.
- Be honest, always.
- Be humble.
- Be kind.
- Respect people’s wishes.
- Allow endings.
- Fail openly.
- Have an amazing haircut.
p.s. For med students and residents who can’t afford (or don’t have time for) an amazing haircut, #10 can be taken as a metaphor. .. 🙂
